​             Since 2009  Downey FC has provided an opportunity for young people to play soccer in a safe and positive environment. We are dedicated to the development of our community's youth through competitive soccer and training. Downey FC is committed to building a long-term relationship with our players, their families and our community. We are an equal opportunity organization providing community youth the access to play on a competitive soccer team. Downey FC is a proud member of the US Club soccer and compete in SoCal Soccer League. The Club is designed to provide each player with the opportunity to improve an athlete's soccer ability by stressing the fundamentals aspects of the game as well as fostering an appreciation for the "Game of Soccer". Within this appreciation for the game, our program will emphasize the importance of "The Spirit of the Game" by stressing sportsmanship and respect for the opponents, officials, and parents. While Downey FC is dedicated to teach the fundamentals skills and tactics of the game, the ultimate goal is to use the game as a medium to help mold our players into responsible and productive citizens within our community.
